1. wanted her husband to be at home than hospital
2. didn't want anyone from the hospital to come and take care of him she wanted to do it.
3. one son was able to make peace but the other didn't get a chances to.

Even though it was a little hard to take care of him she would rather have her husband home than a hospital. i thought that this idea was a good idea because in a hospital you really don't get the rest you need i feel than at home where you feel more safe because you know the people who are in the house on top of that you know your in a safe place. Another good thing that came out of this was that they were able to spend as much time as possible together which made the bonds they had stronger and for them to get even more closer than they were before. Another thing she said which i also like was how she didn't want anyone from the hospital to take care of him, how she wanted to do it herself. I think for him this was good because its better to have someone you love and trust taking care of you than some random stranger that you really don't know. The other insight that she said was how when her husband pass away the youngest son was able to say his final goodbyes and also make peace with his dad, but the other son didn't get to. I understood that the oldest son was really close to his dad and she didn't think he could handle seeing him like that but i think that he still should have had the chances to make peace and say the final goodbyes because not doing that kind of leaves the oldest son with bottled up emotions that he never really got a chances to let out, and maybe be able to see his dad and make peace could have helped in a way.

  1. You're blog was insightful and you caught many of the main ideas that beth spoke about, but on your next blog i want you to compare and contrast some of your ideas and feelings, to beth's and try to imagine what you'd do in this situation. I just want to hear you're thoughts, good blog though.
