One of the popular foods in america the hamburger started to become deadly. what started to happen to the meat was that it was being effected by a number of things one of theses things were E. Coli o157:h7, and if a person were to eat meat which had it they could get very ill and in some cases can also lead to death.
"those who survive are often left with permanent disabilities such as blindness or brain damage" (Pg 200)
I feel that the meat companies are never out for anyones safety they just want to make the most money as possibly and by doing that they are willing to cut corners. The sad part about it is the corners they to tend to cut are the ones that get people very sick or even end up killing people.
